Funeral costs can vary because every family's wishes, venue, coffin, crematorium or cemetery, flowers, catering, clergy or celebrant, printed materials and personal choices may be different. For this reason, we provide an itemised quote following our initial conversation.
Should any changes be made during the arrangement process or in the lead-up to the funeral, an updated quotation will be provided. Prior to the service, families will receive a final itemised invoice so they can review all details and ensure everything is correct.

Families are welcome to create their own tribute or engage an external provider. We are happy to facilitate playback on the day; however, arrangements with third-party providers remain the responsibility of the family.

Chapter House offers a range of floral tributes through our selected florist partners, with arrangements available in a variety of styles, colours and sizes.
A copy of our floral catalogue is available upon request. Pricing varies according to the arrangement selected.
Families are also welcome to arrange flowers directly with a florist of their choice.

Celebrant fees vary according to the individual selected, their experience and the level of involvement required.
Clergy and Church Fees: Varies
Fees vary between denominations and individual parishes. As a guide, families should generally allow approximately $500.00 for clergy and $500.00 for church fees, although these amounts may vary.

At other times, transportation of the person may be undertaken by Chapter House Funerals or by specialist third-party transfer providers engaged by Chapter House Funerals.

WeCare Funeral Transfers Pty Ltd, a registered mortuary and person transport provider operating throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Chapter House Principal Funeral Director Troy Upfield and WeCare Director Michael Webb worked together for several years at Alison Monkhouse Funerals before establishing their respective businesses. This longstanding professional relationship provides confidence that the same standards of care, dignity and professionalism are maintained whenever WeCare is engaged on behalf of our families.

Independent Funeral Industry Support Services (IFISS), founded in 2019 by Kathryn Hodges and Johanna Adams, who collectively bring more than 60 years of experience within the funeral profession.
Where third-party providers are utilised, they operate under the instructions and direction of Chapter House Funerals and are required to maintain the same standards of professionalism, dignity, confidentiality and care expected by our families.
The person remains in the care and responsibility of Chapter House Funerals throughout the arrangement process. Any movement, care or transportation is undertaken solely for the purposes of providing funeral services in accordance with the family's instructions and final arrangements.
